On behalf of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Calumet Chapter 112 and Purdue University Calumet’s Office of Career Services we would like to invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual 2008 Manufacturing Industry Job Fair.
 
With the participation of over 35 local manufacturers last year and nearly 500 active job seekers our 2007 Job Fair was a great success. Funds that were raised through our inaugural job fair were used to pay for learning materials and scholarships for manufacturing students at two local universities. This year we hope to have over 40 manufacturing employers with over 20 already committed.
 
The Manufacturing Industry Job Fair is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2008in the Purdue University Calumet Gymnasium from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. The event is open to community members, PUC students and alumni.

Software Engineer Position

This individual will participate on a team of software engineers to architect, design, develop, install and maintain software applications created to intelligently assist in the placement of Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS). These sensors are used in surveillance missions as well as critical infrastructure support. Specific technical areas include 3D visualization, decision support algorithms, RF communication algorithms, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial foundation datasets (raster maps and imagery as well as vector terrain and feature data).
