Visiting Faculty Position of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Applications are invited for a visiting faculty position in electrical and computer engineering, beginning August 2008. Applicants with interests in image processing, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and sensor networks are encouraged to apply. Interest related to industrial or bioengineering applications is desirable, but not essential. An earned Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required. A successful candidate should conduct research and teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Purdue University Calumet, a campus of the Purdue system, enrolls over 9,000 students in more than 80 programs in 17 academic departments. The campus is situated on 180 wooded acres in Northwest Indiana, 25 miles from Downtown Chicago. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering, as well as an M.S. degree in Engineering.
