The primary focus of the Micro/Nano-Scale Laboratory (MNSL) is on hydrodynamic and thermal transport phenomena in microchannels, and cooling and packaging of electronics. Some of the recent research projects in the MNS laboratory includes: nanofluid flow in microchannels, thermal transport phenomena in buoyancy-driven nanofluids, particle tracking in fluids, velocity measurements using particle image velocimetry, and cooling of electronics using refrigeration system, and smart air distribution system. The MNS laboratory is located in Room 150 of the newly renovated Anderson building at Purdue University Calumet.
